- WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services, express an interest in our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services, or contact us.
The personal information we collect may include: names, phone numbers, email addresses, job titles, usernames, contact preferences, and mailing addresses.
Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.
Social Media Login Data. We may offer you the option to register using your existing social media account (such as Facebook or X). If you choose to do this, we will collect certain profile information from the social media provider — see Section 6 for more details.
All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate. Please notify us of any changes.
Information collected from other sources. To enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing and services, we may obtain information about you from public databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programmes, data providers, and social media platforms. This may include mailing addresses, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, and social media profiles, for purposes of targeted advertising and event promotion.
If you interact with us via a social media platform, we may receive personal information such as your name, email address, and gender. You may withdraw your consent to this at any time (see Section 11). Please note that the social media platform's own use of your information is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?We process your personal information for the following purposes:
- To facilitate our recruitment activities, such as:
- handling inquiries and applications for roles
- communicating with candidates for roles
- evaluating candidate data against job requirements
- sending offers to selected candidates
- organising further cooperation with selected candidates (such as contracts)
- maintaining a register of candidates for future roles
- contacting candidates for future opportunities
- To send marketing and promotional communications, in accordance with your preferences — you may opt out at any time (see Section 11)
- To protect an individual's vital interest, such as to prevent harm
- Emergency contact — family contact for overseas workers
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law. Under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR (where applicable), and Australian Privacy Act 1988, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent. We may process your information if you have given us permission for a specific purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
- Performance of a Contract. We may process your information when necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations or at your request prior to entering into a contract.

EmployersWe share candidate information with employers for job applications, interviews, assessments, job offers, and employment placement processes.
Business PartnersWe may share your information with third-party recruitment agencies to provide job opportunities aligned with your experience, only with your permission.
InterSkills Offices / Partners in other countriesWe may share information with relevant offices or partners where suitable job opportunities exist.
Third PartiesWe may share information with:
- Government agencies for visa, tax, and legal requirements
- Airlines for travel arrangements relating to overseas employment
5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services. These help maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save preferences, and support basic site functions.

HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?If you register or log in using a third-party social media account (such as Facebook or X), we may receive certain profile information from that provider, including your name, email address, and profile picture.
We use this information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. We are not responsible for how third-party providers use your information.
7. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?Our servers are located in the European Union. Your information may also be transferred to and processed in Australia and other countries in connection with third-party service providers.
These countries may not have equivalent data protection laws. However, we take appropriate measures to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
We use Standard Contractual Clauses where required to protect international data transfers.
8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, unless required by law.
- Candidates who secure a job: retained for duration of work visa
- Candidates who move for a job outside the UK: retained for 1 year
- Unsuccessful candidates: retained for 2 years
- Marketing contacts: retained until opt-out or no longer needed
- When no longer required, data is deleted or anonymized.
9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and transmission is at your own risk.
10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market to anyone under 21 years of age. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it.

We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track signals.
